Pyritized Petrified Wood - Indonesia
Pyritized Petrified Wood - Indonesia
This incredible Indonesian pyritized petrified wood shows ancient fossilized wood that’s been replaced by metallic golden pyrite instead of the usual quartz or agate. The result is absolutely stunning - you get the original wood grain patterns preserved in brilliant brassy gold with that distinctive pyrite shimmer. It’s a pretty rare combination that brings together millions of years of fossilization with pyrite’s metallic beauty, creating something that looks both ancient and almost futuristic at the same time.
